Dr Michael (Michel) A. CALVO is born in Tunis. He was a member of the Paris Bar (1972-2000) and is a member of the Israeli Bar since 1992. He studied law at the Pantheon-Sorbonne (1972) and at New York University (MCJ’ 74). He obtained a Doctorate of Law of International Organizations and International Economic Relations from the Sorbonne (1985). He is co-author with Dr Karin Calvo-Goller of “The SALT Agreements – Content – Application – Verification” (1986) (ed. Martinus Nijhoff), “Les Accords SALT – Contenu – Application – Contrôle” (1986) (ed. Bruylant) and “Le Dossier Arafat“ (The Arafat’s File), (2004) (ed. Albin Michel). Dr Michael A. Calvo is also one of the co-authors of the criminal claim filed in Belgium and in France against Yasser Arafat and others. From 1981 to 1987 he worked in the legal field for the defense of Human Rights in the former Soviet Union.
